2023年4月26日10時から国道292号「志賀草津高原ルート」が冬の通行止めから解除され通行可能になる予定でしたが、前日の夜からの積雪のため通行止めになっております。

数年に一度はこのように解除後の通行止めがありますので、地元民はなかなかスタッドレスタイヤを脱ぐことができません。

On April 26, 2023, the reopening of National Route 292, known as the Shiga Kusatsu Kogen Route, after its winter closure was scheduled at 10:00 a.m. However, due to overnight snowfall, it is currently closed again. Local residents face such closures after the winter season once every few years, making it difficult for them to switch from winter tires.
