渋池周辺の原生林でモモンガを目撃しました。
彼らは警戒心が強く、夜行性のため日中に目撃できることはめったにありません。
樹木の穴を巣穴にし、今回のように日中たまに顔を出してくれます。
国立公園特別保護地区にあたる渋池周辺では完全に自然の姿の動植物たちに出会うことができます。

On June 18th,
I witnessed a Momonga (Japanese dwarf flying squirrel) in the primeval forest around Shibuike.
They are very cautious and rarely seen during the daytime due to their nocturnal nature. They use tree holes as their nests and occasionally peek out during the day, as they did this time.
In the vicinity of Shibuike, which is designated as a special protected area within the national park, you can encounter various flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
