雪の後の大沼池の様子を見てきました📷
遊歩道は完全に雪に覆われ、深いところで膝まで雪がありました。
12月以降のこの道は、山側からの落雪と谷への落下の危険性がありますので、ご利用はお勧めしません。
今年は暖冬といわれていますが、志賀高原は標高が高く気温が低いため、降った雪は日陰であれば溶けずに残り続けます。
志賀高原のスキー場の雪質が日本トップレベルといわれる所以です。
順調に雪が降ってくれれば1月には私たちが実施しているスノーシューツアーが開催できることでしょう。

I went to see the condition of the Ohnuma Pond after the snowfall 📷
The walking paths were completely covered with snow, with some areas reaching knee-deep.
After December, it is not recommended to use this path due to the risk of avalanches from the mountain side and falling into the valley.
Despite being a year with a predicted warm winter, Shiga Kogen, with its high altitude and low temperatures, retains snow in shaded areas without melting. This contributes to the top-quality snow conditions at Shiga Kogen’s ski resorts, considered among the best in Japan.
If the snow continues to fall as expected, we anticipate hosting our snowshoe tours in January.
