On a lucky day with the first snowfall ☃️in a while, a friendly trio from France 🇫🇷 joined the tour.
We ventured into the winter forest, getting covered in snow.

What impressed me as a true French 🇫🇷 touch was their immediate discussion about delicious mushrooms 🍄 upon seeing large fungi on a tree.
They also demonstrated a deep knowledge of animal tracks🦘
Furthermore, they had a mouth full of fresh snow ❄️ and said “The snow in Shiga Kogen is tasty!”
Now, Shiga Kogen’s snow is French seal approval🇫🇷- taste-wise🙌

久々の降雪というラッキーな日に参加してくれたのは、フランス🇫🇷からの仲良し3人組。
雪まみれになりながら冬の森の探検に出かけました。

私が「さすが🇫🇷だな」と感心したのは、大木に生えた立派なキノコ🍄を見ただけで、母国の美味しいキノコ料理の話をしてくれたり、動物🦘の足跡の知識も深かったこと。
それから口いっぱいに新雪を頬張って「志賀高原の雪美味しいね」と言って頂いことです。
