上信越高原国立公園の最も自然が保護されるエリア「特別保護地域」に指定されている大沼池（おおぬまいけ）へのトレッキングコースの下見へ出かけてきました。

例年残雪が多く池までたどり着けない年もあるこの時期に、排雪作業を行いながらなんとかたどり着くことができました。

皆さんが安心してお歩きいただけるようになるのは、今年は5月下旬からとなりそうです。
大沼池へのトレッキングコースのスタート地点になる、前山リフトは6月15日に営業開始。

ガイドトレッキングは雪解けが終わったコースからご案内を開始しております。
大沼池は神秘的な碧い泉をたたえて皆様をお待ちしておおります。

On May 16, we conducted a preliminary inspection of the trekking course to Onuma Pond, located in the “Special Protection Zone,” the most strictly preserved area within the Joshin’etsu Kogen National Park.

During this time of year, it is not uncommon to encounter significant residual snow, sometimes making it impossible to reach the pond. However, through snow removal efforts, we managed to reach the destination.

This year, the trail is expected to be safe and accessible to visitors starting in late May.

Onuma Pond, with its mysterious blue waters, eagerly awaits your visit.
