Last Week’s Snowshoe Tour Digest

This week’s snowshoe tour digest ❄️

We only had one proper snowfall this week.
But that one day made the whole week special.

Fresh, fluffy Shiga powder had everyone cheering.
At nearly 2,000m, the snow monsters finally made a comeback.
Even the frost-coated lichens looked like tiny pieces of forest jewellery✨

One couple got “eaten” by a natural snow cave,
while someone else celebrated a birthday between blue skies and white snow 🎂

As the week went on, the snow firmed up — walking mode: upgraded.
Perfect conditions for bum-sliding, too.
Fully grown adults… instantly back to child mode.

The sunlight feels a little softer now,
and the birds have officially reopened for business.
On warmer days, it’s perfect weather for a picnic on the snow.

Same white world, totally different personality every week.
Shiga snow really knows how to keep things interesting. What a week😆
