快晴の日曜日からスタート☀️
まるで3、4月のような陽気でした。

週の半ばには雨☔
そして今日は、午前から午後にかけて気温🌡️がぐいぐい低下。
朝の小雨が、午後には待望の雪☃️へと変わりました！

さらに現れたのは、珍しい雨氷🧊
木の枝を包み込む silvery-grey glaze の輝き✨
グレージュ色に凍りついた森は、静かで、繊細で、息をのむ美しさでした。

毎年元気に参加してくださる“アクティブレジェンド”の皆さま😆
そして、お友達をたくさん連れてきてくれたシンガポール🇸🇬からのグループ。
さらに、私の友人も初・志賀高原デビュー💪

雨でも、晴れでも、霧でも、雪でも。
その日その瞬間でまったく違う顔を見せてくれる自然。

3月に訪れる冬と春の揺らぎもまた、特別な時間です🌲

❄️ This Week Snowshoe Tour ❄️

We kicked things off with a brilliant blue Sunday —
but instead of deep-winter chill, it felt more like March… even April!☀️
Blue skies, soft air, and that gentle hint of spring sneaking in.

Midweek brought rain🌧️
And today?
The temperature dropped steadily from morning to afternoon.🌡️
What started as light drizzle finally turned into the snow we’d been waiting for.

And then — something special.
A rare ice-glaze event.🧊
Branches wrapped in a silvery-grey glaze,
as if the whole forest had been dipped in crystal.
Quiet. Subtle. Absolutely stunning.✨

Our amazing “active legends” returned once again — strong as ever.
A cheerful group from Singapore🇸🇬 filled the trails with laughter.
And one of my own friends made their very first Shiga Kogen debut!

Rain, sunshine, mist or snow —
this mountain never shows the same face twice.

Even in March, there’s still so much to experience here.
Winter isn’t finished with us just yet… it just likes to keep things interesting 😉
