イベントとして予定していた横手山ツアー。
📅 2/19 は天候不良のため、別ルートへ変更。

そして迎えた📅 2/26
その分を取り返すかのようなさいっこうの天気☀️

しかもご参加者はなんと1名様。

つまり
🏔️ 景色も
👣 ガイドも
完全独り占めツアー😆

横手山山頂からは絹のベールのような雲海が広がり、🍞 横手山頂ヒュッテさんで早めの腹ごしらえをしてから
いよいよ下山スタート。

雲の上から歩きはじめ、☁️ 雲と同じ目線でひと休み。
そして少しずつ雲の中へ。

最後はもちろん…尻スライダーでフィニッシュ！
横手山だからこそできる贅沢なロングダウンヒル。

このコース、来年もまた開催したいなと思っています。

So… what happened to the Yokoteyama Snowshoe Tour? 🏔️

Our first scheduled date, 19 Feb, had to change routes due to rough weather.

But on 26 Feb…
we were rewarded with absolutely perfect conditions. ☀️

And the best part?
Only one guest joined the tour.

Which meant…
🏔️ the mountain to themselves
👣 the guide to themselves

A very exclusive private adventure.

From the top of Yokoteyama we looked down over a
silky sea of clouds spreading below.

After an early bite at the Yokoteyama Summit Hut,
we began the long descent.

Starting above the clouds,
resting on a snowy bench at cloud level,
and gradually walking down into the mist.

And of course…
We finished with a classic butt slide.

A long, gentle downhill that only Yokoteyama can offer —
slow, quiet, and wonderfully scenic.

We’re already thinking…
this tour should definitely return next winter.
