Features of Spring Snowshoe Tours 👈Click
- The fluffy snow quality that lasts until February gradually becomes firmer after mid-March, making it easier to walk. As the temperature rises, the snow changes to granular snow or wet snow, offering a different kind of enjoyment.
- Additionally, as the snow melts, you may need to avoid walking on the ponds that were previously accessible. We will guide you along the current path, allowing you to experience the natural transition from winter to spring.
- With the arrival of spring, the small birds that had descended to the foothills during the winter might begin to chirp in the forest. The sound of birdsong on the snow is a truly wonderful experience unique to spring.
- As the snow melts, the snow-covered frost trees will reveal their bark, allowing you to feel the vibrant breath of life.
Regarding Weather, Clothing, and Essentials: 👈Click
- The average temperature from mid-March to the end of March is a high of 5°C and a low of -3°C.
- From mid-April to early-May, the temperatures rise to a high of around 10°C and a low of 5°C, signaling the arrival of spring warmth.
- On days when snow or rain is expected, be sure to bring waterproof jackets and pants to stay dry. It’s also a good idea to have a change of clothes in case your clothing gets wet.
- Waterproof hiking boots are recommended, but depending on the snow conditions, they may not always be essential. (However, having a spare pair of shoes is advisable.)
Note: Some rental shops may close after April, making it harder to rent shoes. If you’re concerned, please feel free to reach out for assistance.
- On sunny days, you can enjoy the experience without waterproof clothes, but make sure to prepare for wind protection.
- Spring is when UV rays are strongest, so bringing sunglasses and sunscreen will help you enjoy the day even more comfortably.
- This is the perfect time for a snow picnic! Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
